The University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, Delta State, is set to expand its academic frontiers with the introduction of postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session, creating new opportunities for graduates and professionals seeking higher qualifications, specialised knowledge and career advancement.
The development marks another significant step in the institution's evolving academic journey as it positions itself to broaden access to advanced education, deepen research capacity and strengthen its contribution to manpower development in Nigeria.
According to an official notice released by the university, the postgraduate programmes will cut across several disciplines, offering prospective candidates opportunities to pursue Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD), master's degrees (MSc, MBA, MA, M.Ed, MPA, & MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) qualifications.

The university has indicated that admission seekers must satisfy the general postgraduate admission requirements, alongside any additional departmental conditions applicable to their preferred programmes.
Applicants are expected to complete the application process through the university's official portal, provide accurate information and upload the required supporting documents. These include relevant academic certificates, transcripts, reference letters and other stipulated credentials.
Prospective candidates are advised to monitor the university's official communication channels for the formal admission announcement, application deadlines and other relevant details. Further information is available on the university's website: www.unidel.edu.ng.
Beyond the admission opportunities, the introduction of postgraduate programmes represents an important institutional investment in academic growth, research development and professional capacity building. It is also expected to attract graduates from within and outside Delta State, enhance intellectual engagement and strengthen UNIDEL's emerging reputation as a growing centre of higher learning.
As the university continues to expand its academic offerings, the 2026/2027 postgraduate admission window presents an opportunity for qualified graduates and working professionals to take the next step in their academic and professional journeys.
