The University of Delta, Agbor (UNIDEL), has announced the commencement of online clearance for all newly admitted candidates on Monday, August 17, 2026, as part of the institution’s admission and registration process for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to an official notice issued by the University and signed by the Registrar, Dr. Esther Ajapuovie, all admitted candidates are required to complete the online clearance process and upload the necessary documents before their JAMB Admission Letters can be generated.
Candidates who have already requested for online clearance are expected to return to their respective admission portals and upload the required information, including their examination scratch card serial number, examination scratch card e-PIN and National Identification Number (NIN), before submitting their request for online clearance.
The University also reminded all admitted candidates that uploading their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) is compulsory. The institution stressed that failure to upload the required O’Level results on JAMB CAPS could prevent the approval of candidates’ JAMB Admission Letters.
UNIDEL urged candidates to treat the online clearance exercise with utmost seriousness and ensure that all required information and documents are correctly uploaded within the stipulated period. The University cautioned that failure to complete the online clearance and provide the required documents will affect the approval of the candidates’ JAMB Admission Letters.
Following the completion of the online clearance exercise, admitted candidates are expected to proceed to the next phase of the admission process.
The University has scheduled physical documentation for Monday, September 14, 2026, when candidates are expected to report to their respective faculties and departments for documentation and other necessary admission formalities.
The institution congratulated the newly admitted students and formally welcomed them to the University of Delta, Agbor, while wishing them success in their academic journey.
With the commencement of the online clearance exercise, prospective students are advised to regularly monitor their admission portals and ensure that they complete every required step to avoid delays in the processing and approval of their admission.
Key Dates:
Online Clearance: Monday, August 17, 2026
Physical Documentation: Monday, September 14, 2026
- O’Level Result Upload on JAMB CAPS: Compulsory before approval of JAMB Admission Letter
The University of Delta therefore encourages all newly admitted candidates to act promptly and comply fully with the stipulated requirements.
